Kintsugi, from which the name of this fountain pen is derived, is a technique of repairing cracked or chipped ceramics and lacquerware with lacquer and decorating the joints with metal powder such as gold and silver. Instead of throwing away broken plates and bowls, it can be said that “repairing and using them to make them more attractive” is a culture of valuing things that have been handed down in Japan since ancient times. We painted the body one by one with the pattern newly created by such Kintsugi technique. In addition, the lineup of all four colors reproduces traditional Japanese colors with lacquer to make you enjoy the reproduction of colors with traditional techniques.
