The Shio-sai fountain pen is a gorgeous fountain pen that expresses beautiful waves with mother-of-pearl. The Raden is a technique in which the mother-of-pearl layer inside the shell is cut into thin pieces and polished to create a pattern. The color of mother-of-pearl varies from blue to red depending on the membrane layer.
Craftsmen carefully selected the colors and created patterns that evoke the images of morning waves, evening waves, and night waves.
