The TACCIA Bambooner LE Collection receives its influence from one of our most valuable plants the hardy bamboo. A hand-etched Urushi lacquer wraps each fountain pen with a geometric pattern used by many cultures from centuries to weave bamboo into functional objects. Each Bamboo LE piece takes months to construct. Raw ebonite barrels are painted with multiple coats of Urushi lacquer to seal the Ebonite and develop a foundation. Our artist then hand-engraves each Bamboo LE pen to create a three-dimensional depth and pattern. After the engraving is complete, more applications of Urushi are coated, then polished, to bring each Bamboo LE into its final state. Limited to 50 pieces, in fountain pen with 14K gold nib. The series is available in two patterns: Scarlet Landscape and Forest Grove.
